Menicon expands

Menicon’s European Distribution Centre has been relocated 25km from Rödermark, Germany, to a larger site in Offenbach.

The new site is one-and-a-half times larger and close to Frankfurt Airport, allowing the company to more efficiently ship products across the world.

Disposable contact lens use is growing globally, with Menicon supplying to over 50 countries. As markets grow, especially in Asia, Menicon’s transaction volume has increased, creating the need for a larger site.

Further investment into the new site is ongoing, with a new building slated for completion on the site in 2021.
