It released its first biodegradable sunglass collection made from bio-acetate

Danish eyewear brand Messy Weekend has launched its first biodegradable sunglass collection, with frames made from a bio-acetate called M49 Mazzuchelli Acetate.

The brand states it has eaten the cost and maintained the wholesale and retail price at £28 and £85 respectively, despite using leading sustainable materials on the market.

The collection included models: Liv, a rectangular acetate frame with slight cat-eye corners in colours black green, tortoise, and brown crystal; New Depp, a classic round shape frame in crystal green, tortoise, and light champagne; Billie, a refined style frame with a vintage vibe in crystal, light champagne, and tortoise; and Grace, a narrow rectangular statement sunglass in crystal bright green, black green, and tortoise.
