Middlesex Association for the Blind celebrated its 85th anniversary this month with a visit from HRH The Duke of Gloucester.
More than 120 guests gathered at the charity's Harrow head office to gain an insight into MAB's work, which covers nine London boroughs and an estimated 40,000 people with visual impairment.
Soni Shah, MAB development manager, appealed to practitioners across the region to help raise funds by adopting the association as their local charity for the visually impaired. Visit www.aftb.org.uk for further details.
