The Minister for Public Health, Shona Robison MSP, will be the guest of honour and will deliver a keynote speech at the Scottish Optometric Conference in December.

The Minister for Public Health, Shona Robison MSP, will be the guest of honour and will deliver a keynote speech at the Scottish Optometric Conference in December.

Optometry Scotland and the Scottish Committee of Optometrists are jointly hosting the conference, which will be held in Glasgow on Sunday December 2 2007. The programme for the day includes a wide range of political and clinical matters as they affect the profession in Scotland, with the focus being the new GOS arrangements in Scotland following the introduction of the free eye examination last year.

An evening reception and dinner will also be held on the same day.
