Modo Group has acquired eyewear company Italia Independent as Modo sought to increase its offering of frames that combined tradition and innovation with style and design.
Alessandro Lanaro, founder and CEO of Modo Group, said: ‘Modo Group and Italia Independent have always shared the desire to stand out from the crowd. Our aim is to reunite the great community that Italia Independent has created over the years, both in the optical sector and among end consumers.’
The first Italia Independent collection under Modo’s ownership will launch in spring/summer 2024 and will be made in Italy and distributed worldwide.
