A laser eye surgery PR campaign by Optical Express has promised to offer patients their money back if a procedure does not provide 20/20 vision or better.
The campaign follows investment of over £1m in what the multiple said was the latest generation of iLasik laser eye surgery technology, iDesign.
Dr Steve Schallhorn, chief medical director and chairman of the Optical Express International Medical Advisory Board, said: ‘From audited clinical outcomes we have seen that over 99 per cent of our patients achieve 20/20 vision or better following iLasik laser eye surgery, and our continued investment in our technology and our clinical teams has given us the confidence to be able to offer prospective patients their money back if, for any reason, we cannot achieve that outcome for them.’
