Optical Express has introduced a full money-back patient satisfaction guarantee for potential laser eye surgery patients which promised 20/20 vision or better after the procedure.
The multiple said the new guarantee followed a pilot study conducted last year which showed that 99 per cent of Optical Express patients having iDesign iLasik surgery achieved 20/20 or better.
‘This has given us the confidence to be able to once again offer prospective patients their money back if for any reason we cannot achieve that standard for them,’ said chief medical director and chairman of the Optical Express international medical advisory board, Steve Schallhorn.
The company has also recently launched www.opticalexpresschangedmylife.co.uk to allow its patients to submit their own laser eye experiences. Almost 500 customers were said to have uploaded comments since the site went live.
