AECOM with Penoyre & Prasad and White Arkitekter appointed to design new eye care centre

AECOM with Penoyre & Prasad and White Arkitekter have been appointed to design a new London eye care centre.

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UCL and Moorfields Eye Charity launched a competition six months ago with the Royal Institute of British Architects for people to win the chance to design the new eye centre for eye care, research and education on a site at St Pancras Hospital. AECOM will work with Moorfield’s Oriel project team on concept designs.

Dale Sinclair, AECOM’s director of technical practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: ‘AECOM is excited to be leading this experienced team of architects, engineers and specialists, who have a collective track record of delivering high-quality healthcare environments across the world. Together with Penoyre & Prasad and White Arkitekter we will work with the joint partners, patients and staff to design a world-class facility that will help shape the future of eye care, research and education.’
