Moorfields Eye Charity launched by Widdecombe

Former Conservative MP and Strictly Come Dancing participant Ann Widdecombe will be at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on May 27 to open the new Moorfields Eye Charity.

Charitable funds have been vital to the hospital since it opened in 1805 and help it finance research into the major causes of blindness, develop new treatments and buy state-of-the-art equipment.
