Provis has increased the power range of its one-day 'daysoftuv' contact lens.
The company explains that although sales demand at the extreme ends of the power range is comparatively small, Provis considered it important that its customers could access the fullest range available from a single source. The range is now -12.50D to +7.00D.
'The new power range extension for daysoftuv is simply the next logical step in supporting our existing customers and attracting new ones,' says Provis chairman Ron Hamilton.
Provis launched daysoftuv at Optrafair in 2001. Since then it has established a wide customer base among UK independent practitioners and exports to 15 countries.
