Multiple’s practice named Chesterfield Retailer of the Year

Specsavers Chesterfield in Derbyshire has won the award for the town’s 2018 Retailer of the Year.

The awards were organised by Destination Chesterfield and recognised the best shops, stores and market stalls in and around Chesterfield. Shoppers had the chance to nominate the winners, which were chosen by an independent panel of judges.

Gareth Webster, retail director at the branch, said: ‘Winning Retailer of the Year is a proud moment for us all. Word of mouth recommendation is the bedrock of our business and this award embodies that. It means the world to us.’

He explained that even though the practice is part of a chain, each store is individually owned and his team has tried to personalise the store and service.
