Mykita re-opens Monterrey store

Frames Openings

Mykita re-opened its Monterrey store in the Plaza O2 in San Pedro Garza García on Friday, November 29, offering a range of optical services.

‘Mexico’s deep-rooted artistry and vibrant craft culture have always resonated with our brand,’ said Mykita founder Moritz Krueger.

Designed by Mykita’s in-house architecture team alongside local industrial designer Jorge Diego Etienne and his studio JDE design, the interior was said to draw subtle inspiration from Monterrey’s industrial heritage.

Krueger added: ‘It’s a real joy to open this new space in Monterrey with our fantastic Mexican team.’

The store offered eye exams, frame repairs and personalised style consultations. It also boasted Zeiss prescription lenses, blue light lens coatings and customised sun lenses.
