Myopia and sustainability at Opti

The agenda of key issues was set for the Munich Exhibition Centre in January

Opti announced it will spotlight myopia management and sustainability as key issues at the Munich Exhibition Centre on January 13-15.

Alongside key focuses, a new section for social media consultations has been set up in the optiCAFÉ, enabling optical brands the chance to gain advice on social media presence in 20-minute slots with experts Sarah Schleicher and Anne-Sophie Lapetitte.

Layout changes were announced as Hall C3 and C4 were joined together so that the first hall now contains all the Opti service areas, while links to the north entrance and the usual transition and circuit to Halls C2 and C1 have been made more compact for convenience.

Thomas Truckenbrod, president of the Central Association of Opticians and Optometrists, commented: ‘Opti is, and remains, an important meeting point for the sector. Filling the halls more densely will support the industry’s need to exchange ideas – and in this way the trade fair will return to its healthy roots.'
