Myopia control strategies in everyday contact lens practise will be the subject of a British Contact Lens Association evening meeting in Staffordshire next month.
Aston University lecturer Dr Nicola Logan, who delivered a lecture at the inaugural BCLA Pioneers & Visionaries Conference in London last November, will present on ‘Myopia control: where are we?’.
Dr Logan’s current research projects include the Aston Eye Study among schoolchildren in Birmingham, myopia control in children with contact lenses and structural and functional aspects of myopia in eyes with ocular pathology. The event will be held at Keele University on February 2, beginning at 6pm with networking drinks.
