MyWoodi has introduced two new styles using wood from around the world and taking its names from the atlas.

The Madrid and Amsterdam styles take classic shapes are manufactured from wood in Italy using lamination and decoration to provide the finished pieces with a modern and elegant feel.

The firm describes its look as clean, linear, ultra-modern and extremely cool mixing wooden textures with modern colouration. MyWoodi is also keen to point out that the eyewear is affordable and playful indicating a younger wearer wanting a sophisticated look.

Within the collection are five sunglasses and seven optical styles - in six different types of wood in various colours. Each is composed of eight laminations which brings out the contrasting and complementary colours. MyWoodi said sixty processing phases, 15 of which are carried out by hand,go into the production of each frame. The result is a lightweight, each weighs 13 grams and has a hidden hinge to completes the sleek effect.
