New educational courses to feature at BCLA

A wider range of speakers and topics will feature in the British Contact Lens Association’s clinical conference and exhibition next year

New lectures at BCLAA wider range of speakers and topics will feature in the British Contact Lens Association’s clinical conference and exhibition next year (May 29-31).

A new category of member-submitted educational courses has been launched. The 1-2 hour CET lectures will cover all GOC competencies and will use standardised blocks to make it easier for delegates to tailor their educational programme to suit their career aspirations and CET/CPD requirements.

‘The new category gives all members an opportunity to share their speciality practice with others, further honing their communications skills and counting towards their fellowship of the BCLA,’ said Professor James Wolffsohn, BCLA academic committee chairman and fellowship consultant.
