The new group's sales and marketing operations will be consolidated in Farnborough, Hampshire together with customer service and despatch. Further details will be confirmed shortly of the transfer of Biocompatibles from Farnham, Surrey. As part of the integration of the new company there will be a focus on expanding the Proclear Compatibles range, and the development of a new monthly disposable toric using Biocompatibles' phosphorylcholine ('PC') technology. A spokesman for Biocompatibles Hydron said: 'The new company is dedicated to the development of new products utilising the PC technology.' As reported in last week's optician Hydron's ActiSoft 60 will be discontinued from sale in the UK.
