No 7 Contact Lenses is now supplying UK customers with Menicon's lens care products including MeniCare Plus, MeniCare Soft, MeniTears and Progent.
MeniCare Plus is a one-step product for rigid lenses, combining wearer comfort with disinfecting efficacy through Menicon's Prolex system. The company said that the added comfort from the product meant it might be beneficial for orthokeratology.
Menicare Soft with Comfortec is a polyhexanide-based multipurpose solution, combining antimicrobial activity, low toxicity and comfort for soft lens wearers.
MeniTears is a preservative-free lubricant eye drop, packaged in single doses, for use with hydrogel, silicone hydrogel and rigid contact lenses. Progent protein remover, disinfectant and cleaner is described as having effective anti-prion activity.
