New role for new markets

After 22 years at Johnson & Johnson, Shirley Bovonsombat has taken up a new role within the company. Bovonsombat recently made the move from senior product manager to franchise manager, brand communications, EMEA.

Her new role will include developing brand communications for the EMEA region and working with practitioners in the emerging markets of central Europe. Bovonsombat said she was looking forward to applying her many years of experience in the UK on a regional scale, as well as learning about new markets and understanding the challenges they face.

Bovonsombat stated her belief that manufacturers should continue to support the independent sector with programmes which enabled them to offer a differentiated service to their patients, whether it was through education or patient and practice loyalty plans. 'The key to customer retention is to offer patients products that deliver the most benefits to the patient's life,' said Bovonsombat.
