New self treatment product launched to treat dry eye

Mitron Medical and the BIB Group have launched a new product to treat dry eye, blepharitis and chalazion.

Created and developed by Eyedetec in the USA, Eyegiene is a warm eye compress which maintains the therapeutic temperature for eight to 10 minutes of wearing time. The warming systems are disposed of after use and the constant temperature ensures no risk of burning or overheating.
