Nikon Optical extends on Enhanced Reading line

Nikon Optical UK has extended the options of its Nikon Online Enhanced Reading lens. It now comes with degression values of 2.00D in both 1.67 (FP-III) and 1.60 (EP-III) materials.

This is in addition to the 1.00D and 1.50D options and, said the company, would allow even greater dispensing flexibility and customer satisfaction. Nikon Online also comes in CR39 material.

The company described the lens as uniquely specialised for near and intermediate vision, developed in direct response to studies showing the changing demands on visual zones created by modern day activities such as computer use.

The lens is designed to allow the patient access to both near and intermediate vision with minimal head and neck movement. ‘Patients can expect a quality of coatings synonymous with Nikon – Easy Clean HCC ikon, and original HCC Reflection Free coatings,’ said Nikon.
