Two long-serving members of staff at No7 Contact Lenses have been promoted to director roles.
Katie Harrop has been given the title of professional services director after serving as professional services manager for the last 13 years. Harrop, an optometrist and BCLA fellow, has extensive specialist contact lens experience and leads the company’s educational programme and training days.
Meanwhile, Cathy Gallop will assume the role of operations director following a long career with the Sussex-based company. She will have responsibility for the day to day running of the business, including customer services, finance, export and overseeing the laboratory.
Cathy has seen huge changes at the company, she said: ‘In the 20 years that I have worked for No7 the business has doubled in personnel and tripled in lens sales. Our plans for the next five years show an even greater commitment to supporting independent opticians and specialist contact lens fitters, and to expand our global business.’
