Three players from Nottingham Rugby Club have paid a visit to shirt sponsor Vision Express.
Fly half James Arlidge (right), hooker Joe Duffey (left) and scrum half Finlay Barnham passed by the multiple's practice in the Victoria Centre for a series of eye examinations and contact lens consultations.
New Zealand-born Japan international Arlidge discovered he was slightly myopic and tried a pair of contact lenses for the first time.
He said: 'When you're going up against top of the table you need to know your vision is right. I notice my eyes most when I'm travelling - squinting up at the departure boards is when you realise your eyesight might not be up scratch.'
