Water Jacket (pictured below) is designed for use in extreme conditions and was tested by professional surfers and wave riders for nearly two years. To combat glare from water surfaces, the company has adapted its Iridium lens coating and claims Water Jacket will protect against pterygium from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. The Plutonite lens blocks 100 per cent of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light. Oakley says the specially vented lenses and the 'unique' frame shape improve water drainage and evaporation. The wrapped, raked-back shape protects against sun, wind and impact. Soft Unobtanium 'nosebombs' and 'earsocks' are designed to increase adhesion when wet and ensure a secure fit.
