Oakley provides the extreme solution

Oakley is to launch a new pair of sunglasses based on its Racing Jacket later this month.

Water Jacket (pictured below) is designed for use in extreme conditions and was tested by professional surfers and wave riders for nearly two years. To combat glare from water surfaces, the company has adapted its Iridium lens coating and claims Water Jacket will protect against pterygium from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. The Plutonite lens blocks 100 per cent of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light. Oakley says the specially vented lenses and the 'unique' frame shape improve water drainage and evaporation. The wrapped, raked-back shape protects against sun, wind and impact. Soft Unobtanium 'nosebombs' and 'earsocks' are designed to increase adhesion when wet and ensure a secure fit. Water Jacket is available in jet black or blue and comes with a 'nearly unbreakable' strap and neck leash, Micro Clear bag, hydrophobic solution and protective soft-box case. - For further details contact 01462 475475.
