Ocuco: Rescheduling en masse

Irish owned Ocuco, a supplier of software solutions to the optical industry, has released SMS Proposer to organise the mass rescheduling of appointments that may be necessary due to coronavirus.

SMS Proposer is part of the existing SMS Module within the Acuitas practice management software, and can also be used to automate the patient recall process in most situations.

The new proposer can send three suggested time slots for appointments to patients via SMS, with patients able to select their preferred option or receive alternate time slots via a simple reply. Once confirmed, a new appointment is automatically added to the diary.
