Ocuco webinar explores dyslexia

Professor Bruce Evans from City, University of London presented a clinical webinar on paediatric optometrist hosted by omnichannel solutions company Ocuco on August 14.

The lecture, Understanding dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties: the role of an optometrist, discussed the management of related visual factors.

Prof Evans explored key visual conditions, such as visual stress and binocular instability, examination methods, treatment options, effective communication and the distinction between treating visual issues and dyslexia itself.

The Ocuco webinar offered one interactive CPD point for optometrists and dispensing opticians. Prof Evans has authored over 270 scientific and professional papers and nine editions of optometric textbooks.
