An optometrist shared her expertise in Zambia during a charity trip to the country. Ella Ewens, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care medical affairs manager, travelled as part of a programme set up three years ago in conjunction with charity Vision Aid Overseas.
She is pictured conducting a dual eye test with a student optometrist, and helped support the Chainama College of Health Sciences teaching programme through a two-week practical refraction teaching course for third year students. Ewens lectured on subjects including UV, ocular drugs and contact lenses, while J&J also supplied textbooks, teaching resources and student packs.
