Optegra appoints clinical services director

Optegra Eye Health Care has appointed a clinical services director to partner with regional clinical and governance leads to ensure processes are optimised for patients’ treatment journeys.

Chris Chisholm started his career as an NHS healthcare assistant, before qualifying as a nurse and later transitioning into sales and management roles within Newcastle hospitals.

‘I’m looking forward to this role, which is largely managing people and processes. I believe there are always opportunities for improvements and especially exploring opportunities as the business continues to grow with additional new NHS cataract clinics scheduled this year,’ said Chisholm.

Optegra UK managing director, Mat Pickering added: ‘We are excited that Chris is joining us and really bringing the challenges and opportunities of clinical services to the forefront as we endeavour to continue to improve services and patient experience across all our 14 UK hospitals and clinics.’
