
Optegra, a specialist European eye hospital group, has acquired its first ophthalmic clinic in the Netherlands through a joint venture with Quadrum Capital.
Building on its strong presence in Central Europe and the UK, the group has taken a 51% share in the Iris Eye Clinic in Boxtel, near Eindhoven.
The clinic offers cataract surgery and vision correction treatments, aligning with Optegra’s strategy.
Optegra CEO Dr Peter Byloos commented: ‘With the support of our investors, MidEuropa, we have identified this opportunity for growth and this acquisition is an exciting expansion of our European business.’
