Ophthalmology provider Optegra says it will target Scotland and the South West for expansion bringing its number of hospitals up to ten as it seeks to build closer links with optometrists and Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide.

The group, set up in the UK in 2008, is keen to impress on the profession that it offers a wide range of ophthalmology services to both private and NHS patients. It said as a dedicated eye care provider it is better placed to offer the ‘A to Z of eye care under one roof ’ through its clinics and team of consultants. All of its staff are specific to eye care and its clinics are modern and well-equipped for day surgery procedures giving a good patient experience, it added.
