Opti bolsters sustainability efforts with new award

German tradeshow Opti has announced a new award for its 2024 event, which will be held January 12-14 in Munich.  

The Opti Sustainability Award is open for entry by national and international optical practices that can demonstrate inspiring solutions to sustainability, with the winner to receive €5,000.  

Opti show director Cathleen Kabashi said: ‘With the Opti Sustainability Award, we are picking up on important developments within the industry and, on the other hand, proving ourselves as a source of inspiration. Today, it is no longer enough to put on a green face. For every single participant in the industry, it's a matter of doing instead of talking.’
