Optical assistant Linda Southin has been commended for reaching a 15-year milestone working at Edmonds and Slatter Opticians in Blaby, Leicestershire.
Assistant manager Southin, who was part of the team who won Optical Assistant Team of the Year at this year’s Optician Awards, was presented with a bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion.
Tim Cole (also pictured), dispensing optician and business partner, said: ‘We are lucky to have Linda. She was a bright spark when she joined us as a school leaver and quickly progressed to become a key part of our team. Now she's been a part of the practice so long, we can't imagine the place without her.’
