BCLA CEO Cheryl Donnelly has been named among the participants in a cross-party Westminster Health Forum entitled ‘Improving eyecare in England: commissioning, standards and service delivery’ on September 4.
The event, focusing on how to meet local eyecare needs, service redesign, and Local Eye Health Networks, has also named Dr David Geddes, head of primary care commissioning NHS England, and Samantha Peters, chief executive and registrar of the General Optical Council, as guests of honour.
Other keynote speakers included RNIB chief executive and UK Vision Strategy chair Lesley-Anne Alexander, ABDO president Peter Black and president of the College of Optometrists David Parkins.
