Optical Express launches post-grad qualification

Optical Express has set up a post-graduate qualification for eye care professionals to develop skills in cataract and refractive surgery.

Practitioners can learn about patient consultations, diagnoses and treatment planning, and explore topics such as laser vision correction techniques and intraocular lens selection and placement.

Stephen Hannan, clinical services director at Optical Express, said: ‘This course illustrates the strength of our commitment to excellence and innovation in cataract and refractive surgery.

The programme was created in partnership with Healthcare Skills and Training International and is accredited at Level 7 by EduQual.
