At last Wednesday's London meeting, to discuss the implementation of the UK Vision Strategy, the APPG's chair Sandra Gidley, MP, said: 'Eye health is not on the radar of MPs. Unless people start lobbying MPs they won't take notice. There is so much else going on for ministers that you have to make some noise to catch their attention.'
