Optician subscribers should  look out for an information sheet, contained within their issue  over the next few weeks, explaining how they can get the best out of the revamped Optician website.

Each of the next three issues will include a flyer explaining where to go to make sure you get full access to all of the new features on www.opticianonline.net. For those not already registered it will explain what you need to do to get all of the benefits from the online changes, none of this affects your subscription or delivery of the magazine you receiev each week each week. The new website has continually updated news and features, online Continuing Education and Training plus enhanced galleries for feature coverage of Frame, lens, contact lens and business. It also has a responsive design which makes using the site on a tablet computer or smartphone easier. Optician is also now available as a digital edition which enables you to have it delivered to your email inbox every Thursday.

Optician is urging its subscribers, and those eligible through bulk subscriptions, to register on the site now  to ensure they get the full benefit of the new site. Currently the whole of www.opticianonline.net is freely available but later this summer a subscription paywall will be introduced to reserve content, such as CET, exclusive features and breaking news for  individual subscribers and other eligible users only.

To create, or update, your registration there are simple steps to follow on the website. If you have any difficulties please call our dedicated team of support staff  on 08450 778822.

Here is a link to the Optician flyer .

The Flyer, contained in the wrapper along with your issue over the next three weeks, provides a link to a web page which answers some frequently asked questions such as ensuring the email you use on the website matches that used for your magazine subscription, how to gain access to CET and what to do if you have not yet registered on www.opticianonline.net.
