Volunteers have been sought for a Christmas eye care initiative run by Vision Care for Homeless People and Crisis at Christmas from December 23-29. Service organiser Shaneela Chana said: ‘This is very worthwhile work, at a time when many people need support. Just a few hours of volunteering can make a tremendous difference to other people’s lives.’ To find out more about volunteering visit www.visioncareforhomelesspeople.org
A waiting list for Johnson & Johnson’s Vision Care Institute’s clinical roadshows ‘Are you fitting comfortably’ has been opened after the events sold out last week. Some 900 ECPs have booked places after additional capacity was added. Organisers said a total of 8,100 CET points will be on offer to delegates. Those who cannot attend have been asked to inform organisers on 0845 310 5347 so that others can take their place.
