CooperVision has made two appointments at its Hampshire HQ which it said would strengthen the level of practitioner support and focus provided across Europe. Debbie Olive (pictured) joins the company as vice president of marketing for Europe, along with Dimple Shah as the new professional affairs and relations consultant. Formerly director of marketing at Alcon-CIBA Vision, Olive will be responsible for growing the manufacturer's contact lens business. Shah will focus on developing the company's European training programme and provide practitioners with support to develop their businesses.

CET provider Replay Learning plans to relocate its Scottish offices in Thornhill to Edinburgh. Replay slated a summer closure for the Thornhill offices, entering a consultation period with staff that 'may or may not result in redundancies'. 'We are already well resourced between our offices in Edinburgh and London and we expect some of our staff from Thornhill to relocate. We are confident there will be no effect on our ability to carry out work during this period,' the company said.
