Industry bodies are offering assistance to optical practices affected by the recent floods in Gloucestershire and other parts of the country.

The AOP said it had taken a few calls from practices needing more general assistance and these had been given priority. A spokesman said: 'Any enquiry from a member will be treated with the utmost urgency.'
