The long-awaited consultation document for the UK Vision Strategy will be published on November 1, Optician has learnt.
As reported (News, February 23), the RNIB-backed initiative which has the support of the Eyecare Trust, the Federation of Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians, the Association of British Dispensing Opticians, the Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists, aims to form a 'coherent strategy' for the sight loss sector.

At the time RNIB chief executive Lesley-Anne Alexander urged practitioners to play a key role in the development of a national strategy by actively participating in the consultation process.
