Optometrist Fred Howard (pictured) from Wirral-based Frederick Howard Opticians completed a 15,000ft sky dive for charity last week.
After several months of waiting for the right weather conditions, he jumped for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity along with daughter Kim Howard, colleague Rebecca Johnson and her dad Mark Johnson, raising over £4,000.
Fred Howard said: ‘It was a relief to finally get up there and make the jump – what a fantastic experience too. We were so pleased to raise so much money for such a wonderful cause, especially after the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre had done such an amazing job of taking care of Rebecca’s mum during her successful battle with cancer.’
