Optometrist Dunstan Gallery passes away

Optometrist Dud (Dunstan) Gallery has passed away at his home in Islay, Scotland.

He grew up in Manchester and ran his own practices as a dispensing optometrists for many years in Birmingham, his friends and colleagues reported.

He then moved to Islay running a hotel for 10 years and later opened two practices there.

Gallery fronted his band Contraband, singing and playing guitar, and was in great demand across Islay.

He leaves behind his wife Trish and his family Kirsty and John.
