Hoya Lens UK has appointed Latha Korvi (right) as its new professional services manager. She joins the company after spending 14 years as a full-time optometrist.
Prior to joining Hoya Lens UK, Korvi had been working for an independent practice in Lincoln, where in addition to her optometrist duties, she was responsible for developing clinical services and enhancing customer care through staff training and identification of the most suitable products and services for the client base.
On her new role, Korvi said: 'I have a particular passion for the independent sector and I am looking forward to using my business skills gained through experience, and the MBA studies, to support Hoya customers. Hoya is a wonderful company to work with and I am proud to promote the excellent customer service and high quality products. The tremendously impressive ethos of the company resonates throughout the team.'
