Optometrist’s artwork displayed in Wiltshire exhibition

Optometrist creates two pieces of artwork that are on display in a local art exhibition

An optometrist has created two pieces of artwork that have been accepted into a local art exhibition.

Martin Memory, who works at Hakim Group owned Memory Opticians in Amesbury and Salisbury, produced a giclee print based on statues on the tomb of Lorenzo De Medici by Michelangelo. It has been on display in the Salisbury Art Centre as part of the Wiltshire Creative Summer Open Exhibition.

Memory said: ‘The idea came to me when I was observing our managing partner, Katie Memory, design a consultation for frame styling, one element of which examines a subject’s dominant style personality. I’m thrilled the work has not only been accepted in the exhibition but also and has the potential to be a useful tool as part of the six-stage eyewear styling consultation.’
