Nick-TimmsFirst Class Honours optometry student Simran Kaur has won the Heidelberg Engineering prize after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with top marks in her final year module in shared care.

The module covered the advanced understanding of common ocular disorders and the skills required for participation in today’s co-management schemes.

She won an educational grant to attend a course at the Heidelberg Engineering Academy to learn more about OCT and the Spectralis device. Kaur is pictured with Nick Timms, Heidelberg Engineering technical support and sales manager for the Northeast.
