First class optometry graduate Claire Wotherspoon has won an annual prize awarded by Scottish chain Black & Lizars.
Wotherspoon was presented with the OD Black Award at a ceremony at Glasgow Caledonian University last month, along with a host of other awards.
She won £500 after being named as the university’s top optometry graduate by the company.
The OD Black Award dedicated to the memory of the late Oscar D Black whose family optometry practice C Jeffrey Black merged with Lizars in 1998 to form Black & Lizars, a statement said.
It was presented by Morven Campbell, clinical services manager at Black & Lizars.
