Medical retinal imaging company Optos has increased its revenue by 35 per cent to $143.3m for the financial year ending September 30 2011.
Gross profit was up 29 per cent to $91.4m from $70.9m as Optos highlighted a continued trend for outright sales of devices, up $29.5m to $37.6m, with finance leases up $12.1m to $19.8m.
Optos chief executive Roy Davis said: 'During the financial year we have delivered a significant increase in both revenues and profits while making important investments in the long-term growth of the business. We have expanded into several new markets, while building our product portfolio both through acquisition and organic development.'
