Optoversity Challenge returns to think Out of the Box

Second ‘Optoversity Challenge’ event is organised by Out of the Box Optics

A second ‘Optoversity Challenge’ event was organised by Out of the Box Optics last month.

The programme included an ocular disease picture quiz and general optometry MCQ, followed by a round of preparatory OSCE stations and careers talk. Out of the Box Optics secured prizes from suppliers including Zeiss Vision, Henry Beaumont Eyewear, Modo Eyewear, Coopervision and Thea Pharmaceuticals.

Optometry students from Anglia Ruskin University and City raised a total of £2,788.51 for Vision Care for Homeless People in the build up to the event. The top fundraiser was Amrita Padda from City University, who raised £734.25 and was awarded with a £50 restaurant voucher.
