VCHP Optoversity Challenge invites contenders

Students and companies were invited to sign up for Vision Care for Homeless People's (VCHP) Optoversity Challenge optometry competition and charity fundraiser, taking place on April 7.

The annual online competition, organised by Out of the Box Optics, invited students to compete against their year groups and raise funds through sponsorship in the lead-up to the event.

Competing universities included Anglia Ruskin, Aston, Bradford, City, Dublin Technical Institute, Huddersfield, Manchester, Plymouth, Ulster, University of the West of England.

The four top scoring students would go through to an OSCE-style competition to decide the final winner, while gaining from the opportunity to practise their skills and learn from others.
