Optrafair organiser the FMO would like to hear from optical groups and other organisations who would like to stage their regional meetings during the show, which runs from April 4-6 at Birmingham's NEC.
This year's event will have increased focus on supporting practitioners facing the implications of the tough UK economic climate and global conditions.
'Optrafair is a great meeting place when the industry and the profession come together. We feel that it is also an ideal opportunity - being well located towards the middle of the country - for optical bodies to hold their annual meetings. The facilities at the NEC are excellent for large or small gatherings and the area is well supported by a range of hotels,' said Malcolm Polley, the chief executive of the FMO.
